EximCheck.ai is an AI-powered India trade compliance platform operated from India. We help importers and exporters globally understand India's import/export regulations, HSN codes, BIS requirements, customs duties, and DGFT policies.

2. What Data We Collect

When you submit a compliance check request, we collect:

• Your name — to personalise your report
• Your WhatsApp number — to deliver your report to you
• Your product query — the product you want to check (e.g. "LED TV", "Bluetooth earbuds")
• Query type — whether you are checking for Import or Export
• Timestamp — when the request was made

We do not collect payment card details, passwords, national ID numbers, or any sensitive personal information.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Generate a compliance report for your product query using AI
• Send that report to your WhatsApp number
• Enforce usage limits (1 free report per phone number per month)
• Log your query in our internal records for service improvement

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service you requested.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

To deliver our service, your data passes through the following trusted third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — your product query is sent to Claude's API to generate the compliance report. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy
• Green API — used to send your WhatsApp report. Your phone number is shared with Green API solely for message delivery.
• Google (Apps Script & Sheets) — used to process requests and log leads. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy
• Cloudflare — our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log basic access data per their policy.

5. WhatsApp Messaging

By submitting your WhatsApp number, you consent to receive your compliance report via WhatsApp. We will only send you the report you requested. We do not send unsolicited marketing messages.

If you purchase a paid plan, we may send you policy update alerts or plan-related communications. You can opt out at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp.

6. Data Retention

We retain your name, phone number, and query in our internal logs for up to 12 months to support our service operations. Usage limit tracking (which phone numbers have used their free report) resets automatically each calendar month.

You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@eximcheck.ai.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data. Our service runs on secure infrastructure (Google, Cloudflare) with industry-standard encryption in transit. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Opt out of any communications from us

9. Children's Privacy

EximCheck.ai is a professional B2B service intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age.
